Redneck Games in United States and Canada
Back in 1996, the Olympic games were held in Atlanta, Georgia, and the international media didn’t hold back; they let the “redneck” jokes fly. So Georgia went along with it, and the Redneck Games were born. The competitions include classy games like hubcap hurling, toilet seat throwing, mud pit belly flop contests, and the armpit serenade championship. The games moved up to Maine in 2013, and even Canada wanted in and started hosting their own redneck games annually.
